Science
Students meet weekly for science. Our science curriculum is based on Next Generation Science Standards using the Full Option Science System (FOSS) program. This is a hands-on science curriculum. We have three main units every year - Physical Science, Earth Science, and Life Science.

Physical Education
Weekly Physical Education class that includes running, soccer, archery, basketball and other fun activities to keep the body moving.

Drumming (TK-5th Grade)
Weekly drumming sessions with Mr. Bob. The students learn melody, harmony, rhythm, and composition.

Strings (4th and 5th Grade)
Our 4th and 5th graders have the opportunity to study violin or cello.

Library
Our Sequoia Library offers students an opportunity to check out a new book each week.

Garden
Students spend time in the Sequoia garden each week. They learn about the ecosystem of the garden, help plant new things and maintain existing landscape. Students get to try vegetables grown in the garden and may even come home with a new favorite green thing they will eat.
